Great Class with Donnie Hansen
May 19th, 2014Thanks to Donnie Hansen for coming to our neck of the woods to give a few of us some great riding tips and techniques and for the freebies after the class.
Everyone showed noticeable improvements in just the two days he was here. Now we all have the techniques needed to practice and improve over the summer.
Hope to have him out again next year!

No Quads
May 28th, 2013We have to ask that non-member quads don’t ride. Sorry, we just don’t have the resources to maintain the track for quads and bikes.
If you want to be a member and have a quad, please call one of the board members to discuss.
Thanks for your understanding.

quad riders
May 3rd, 2012We get a lot of questions about quads. Here is some info. for the guys thinking about bringing your quads out to Hillside:
The MX track is designed and built for bikes and not really quad friendly. The jump faces are set up for bikes. We try to prep the track relatively deep to help develop ruts, [from my understanding] quads prefer a smoother surface.
The woods trails are laid out for bikes and most areas snake around and over trees and are too tight for quads. [Some of us think they are too narrow for bike also!! You’ll see handle bar marks on many trees!!] The bridges are all set up for bikes and many are too narrow for a quad. Riding through the streams is strictly prohibited.
Also, everyone must follow the 96db sound limit.
